New! - "when there's nothing left to burn"
Eve thought little of the book when she first reached down into the tomb’s chest and found it, lying by itself in strangely good condition for being abandoned to a glorified rotting crate; the leather binding kept none of the slime that coated the wood or the stone walls. In cracked gilt lettering on the spine the book was titled Lanternthrust.
A woman who once tried to burn herself alive finds a book that lets her set herself ablaze. It bodes poorly for her.
May's Pick - "i hope we live to tell the tale"
“I don’t feel better,” Ceroba says, eyes fixed on the garden. She could’ve taken better care of it, figured out all the machines Chujin used to keep the Dunes from encroaching again, watered the flowers and pruned the dead branches. She wouldn’t know where to start, now. Chujin never taught her. She never asked. It’d never be the same, even if he did. “I wish he’d never left me that damn message.”
In the months and years after Clover's sacrifice, Ceroba Ketsukane finds her tomorrows.
Recommendation Notes: It's been almost two years since I wrote this and I'm still incredibly proud of it. Still ranks among the longest stories I've actually completed. It's a bittersweet little story about moving on.
About the Library
This library (est. 2026) is an informal place to share any writing I want out in the world, plus some of my larger projects I hope to eventually publish either through AO3 or on here! Project summaries live below until I have the time to sort them out into their own pages.
The Card Catalog is where you can find all of my original works - at this point, mostly supplementary works for tabletop games or roleplay servers I'm in. The Archives currently just links to my page on Archiveofourown, but I'd like to get a page on this site going to compile all of my fanworks eventually.
stories from spectre
also collectively known as sauce smp. partner to spectrepedia, which aims to provide context to the various things i write set in this world.
sauce smp started as a series of small multiplayer minecraft servers and eventually evolved into a large collaborative storytelling project that i have written a frankly absurd amount for, which only passingly resembles its minecraft origins. spectre is the name of the world that season two of the story takes place in.
at its heart it's a messy exploration of messy people in even messier relationships with each other (be prepared: experts warn that this polyamorous relationship could expand to cover all of spectre by 1990). it runs on two things: wouldn't it be fun if- and wouldn't it be fucked up if-? mostly it exists to have a lot of fun. i've been writing stories set in it for over five years now!
until i get spectrepedia up & running, most of the short stories i post here won't have much context, since pretty much all of them were written for an audience of approximately four people who already know what the fuck is going on. they're some of my favorite work, though, so i'm sharing them anyway. have fun if you read any!
cat villainess world
THE TIME-TRAVELLING VILLAINESS WANTS TO JOIN WITH THE HEROINE!
in a world of catfolk, a band of heroes raises up to defeat an assembly of villains led by a deadly, cold cat-taur... or so the story might go, anyway.
this one's in its pretty early plotting stages! over the past year i've read a lot of villainess stories & i adore the genre, but i got frustrated by how many of them have a 'not like other girls'-style protagonist paired with a heroine-turned-villain who is, frankly, a cartoonishly misogynistic caricature. the obvious solution was to make my own and do some yuriful bullshit. also, i love catgirls, and i love thinking about what catpeople society might look like if it borrowed more from cat behavior.
this one involves a time-traveller villainess x transmigrator heroine relationship where neither of them knows what the other has going on, but knows that something is different than the original story... plus they both have other strange romantic entanglements with the women around them, of course. if there's one thing i love more than yuri it's polyamorous yuri where half the people involved want each other dead.
spillways
spillways is a series of works taking place in an alternate universe version of cookie run: kingdom, wherein dark choco and licorice defect from the cookies of darkness after chapter 10 of the story & the plot unravels from there, revealing divergences from before gingerbrave ever escaped the oven. i originally started writing it in late 2021, and the rough draft of part 1 - working hard at follow through - is still available on archiveofourown.
since june of 2025, i've been working on a reboot of the original series, which takes much of the story that's been released since into consideration, along with general improvements to how coherent the plot is. (while i'm still very happy with the original whaft i have gotten MUCH better at writing in the years since i released it.) i'm keeping my cards close to my chest with this one to sustain my motivation, but when i begin releasing the first entry i hope to give spillways its own page on this site, so keep an eye on this space..!
heart chambers
heart chambers is a fusion of legend of zelda: breath of the wild & legend of zelda four swords (primarily drawing from the manga version), in which link goes into the shrine of resurrection as one & emerges, a century later, as four amnesiacs who have little idea they used to be the same person, let alone who that person was.
i always thought it was interesting in breath of the wild how the link in the memories you discover throughout hyrule is such a different person to the link you are now, to varying degrees depending on how you play. after reading the four swords manga for the first time, i thought it'd be interesting to tangle up the themes of identity even further. what does it mean when you're supposed to be the same person, but you only half-recognize yourself in the others? how does it feel to develop into your own people while seeing this impossible ideal of who you used to be? and, of course, they all feel weird & differently about it. also link's already transgender as fuck but the four are, in fact, transgender as fuck.
the split isn't the only change to the plot! shadow is around, though very different from his four swords counterpoint, and so is vaati - waiting in the wings to see how the conflict at the castle turns and how he can take advantage of it, and manipulating things for his own desired outcome. is he still very small doing all of this...? who knows! i like his minish cap design a lot but it makes more sense for him to be the orb, at this point. we'll see.
miscellanea
- WORLDBENDER is the working title of a ttrpg i'm developing, based off the setting of a text-based erpg my partners and i have been working at for a while (also unreleased). i'm counting this as a catchall for both of them! they're about couriers delivering packages both mundane and unusual across a world that was created centuries ago when a bunch of different universes collapsed into one. transformation-centric, with some horror elements.
- 20x2 (also known as the forty fingers au) is an alternate universe of jujutsu kaisen in which yuuji & sukuna travel back from a worse-off timeline to make sure everyone yuuji cares about can live a good life - even if that means eating twenty more fingers, cutting a bloody swath through jujutsu society, and ruining his younger self's future in the process. a horror-comedy i'm writing with my partner crow.
- good things come in pairs: a triptych is the working title for a bundle of short stories about becoming irrevocably entangled with another version of yourself, inspired by glimm*r mag's mirror-themed volume that made me realize i needed way more selfcest yuri out in the world.
